New netbook Amilo Mini
Fujitsu-Siemens enters the netbook market as well and presents its Amilo Mini.
There have been rumours for a long time which said that Fujitsu-Siemens also wants to develop its own netbook. Now, the manufacturer announced they want to present their Amilo Mini at the IFA 2008.
We do not know many technical specifications so far, but they published that the Intel Atom N270 processor with 1.6 GHz will be included into the Amilo Mini. Furthermore, the measurements of the case are 23 (W) x 17.5 (D), and the netbook is a little bit bigger as the Asus Eee PC 901.
There are speculations, that an 8.9-inch display is included, but Fujitsu-Siemens did not tell anything about it so far. Furthermore, it is possible to change the covers of the displays backside and there are 5 different ones available.
Fujitsu-Siemens told that the estimated shipping date will be this year in autumn, but supposedly they’ll tell more at the IFA.
