200 gigabyte laptop hard disks from FSC in 2006
Fujitsu Siemens promises first notebook-hard disks with 200 gigabyte storage capacity for the second half of the year 2006. So far up to now the enterprise announced, that these memory giants would be available in 2007.
Just like the up to now largest hard disks with 160 gigabyte the new disks from Fujitsu Siemens are equipped with SATA connections. These high memory capacities are particularly interesting in the multimedia sections.
