BassJump subwoofer for MacBook

This new device is portable and easy to use.

The company Twelve South has designed an “attractive” subwoofer specifically for Apple’s MacBook line.

Reportedly, even though MacBook speakers are good enough, this new product, called BassJump, will enhance the quality of the sound. According to the manufacturer, the BassJump “dramatically improves the sound performance” of the MacBook and is USB powered. Apparently, this USB connection delivers both power and digital audio to the subwoofer.

Allegedly, it is compatible with all MacBooks and is easy to tune by using a dedicated application. The audio coming from the notebook speakers mingles with the low-frequency one coming from the BassJump to create a “richer” and “fuller” sound.

 This small device is easy to carry around and is available at Apple’s store for $79.99.
