Intel presents price of quad notebook CPU
Very likely Intels first quad core CPU for notebooks will be available in the 3rd quarter, and they already presented its price.

Intel will introduce its Centrino 2 platform in the 3rd quarter of 2008. They made their first quad core notebook CPU for this platform. The speed of the Intel QX9300 is 2.53 GHz, and it supports 1066 MHz front side bus. These specifications fit to those of the Centrino 2 platform. Furthermore, the processor consumes 45 watts, and will be equipped with 12 MB of cache. If the QX9300 CPU is available, then its price will be $ 970,-.
