Android 2.1 update for Dell Streak users with O2 in the UK
It is finally happening! Dell Streak has got Android 2.1 update in the UK, thanks to the UK’s wireless company, O2. Though appreciated, the offer came a little late. When this gadget was launched, then it was termed as tiny tablet or an oversized smartphone and at that time it was accompanied by Android 1.6 Operating System. The updates that were released includes for multitouch gestures, live wallpapers, multiple email accounts and most importantly 720p HD video recording.

The news that is mentioned above is only for the users of O2 in the UK. Now, in the US, Dell and AT&T have no plans on Android 2.1 update, but an upgrade to Android 2.2 is expected at the end of this year. Wow!
