The Galaxy Z Flip 7 made a recent appearance on Geekbench as Samsung's first Exynos powered foldable. On the other hand, other rumours insist it could still use a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, like the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Now, we have a glimpse at the actual device thanks to Android Headlines, who has posted some detailed renders of the upcoming smartphone. It shows off two colourways: Blue Shadow and Jet Black.
This is the second glimpse at the device, with the first one being via OnLeaks. At the back, we can see the familiar dual-camera design (50 MP+ 12 MP) and a large cover display. One notable change with the camera module is that it is integrated with its 3.4-inch rear display. Everything else largely remains the same, such as the side-mounted fingerprint sensor and selfie camera.
Overall, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is likely to be a tad thinner than the Galaxy Z Flip 6. However, Android Headlines states the biggest upgrade will arrive in terms of software. The second screen will now be able to run all apps, instead of a few handpicked ones from earlier. In theory, this should open up new possibilities for users. However, it will face stiff competition from the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra and Xiaomi's Mix Flip 2, and just matching specs might not be enough to give Samsung a lead.
