The Casio W-218H-3BV and W-218H-8BV watches have been listed on the brand’s international website. These wearables are described as having a “sport digital design” and measure 44.4 x 43.2 x 10.8 mm (~1.77 x 1.70 x 0.43 inches).
Casio’s new W-218H-3BV and W-218H-8BV have the same features as older W-218H series watches. These include 50 m water resistance and an estimated battery life of seven years, running on a CR2016 battery. Tools include a 1/100-second stopwatch, a daily alarm and hourly time signals.
Users can choose between 12 and 24-hour time formats, with the time said to remain accurate to within 30 seconds each month. Plus, the calendar is fully automatic, with February set as a 28-day month, and an amber LED backlight helps you read the digital display in low lighting. The W-218H-3BV is made with a dark green resin, while the W-218H-8BV is a lighter mint green, and both have a dark digital display background with light figures.
Casio has listed these two watches as launching in May. However, it has yet to be revealed in which countries the W-218H-3BV and W-218H-8BV will launch in or how much they will cost. They are expected to be relatively cheap, with the older W-218H-1AV retailing for $22.95 in the US (curr. $16.88 at Amazon).
