Two new Casio Edifice watches are reportedly on the way: the EFB-730D-2BV and the EFB-730D-3AV. These analog timepieces have a retro, sporty look, and join a few older versions of the EFB-730D.
In a recent post on Instagram (below), reliable leaker Geesgshock has shared images of the new Edifice EFB-730D-2BV and EFB-730D-3AV watches. The 2BV version has a light blue face with navy blue dials, while the 3AV has a light green face and khaki dials. Both have silver indexes and hands, with a black ring around the outer edge of the face. They are expected to have a stainless steel bezel and casing, measuring 47 × 40 × 11 mm (~1.9 x 1.6 x 0.4 inches), with a protective sapphire crystal cover and a metal strap.
As with other EFB-730D watches, these new variants have the 3-6-9 inset dial layout. The first of these smaller dials indicates the time in a 24 hour format, with the other two linked to the stopwatch feature, showing the minutes and seconds passed. There are three analog hands, for the hour, minute and seconds, and a basic date display. Other features include a Screw Lock Back, 100 m water resistance and a three year battery life estimate.
It is unclear when the Casio Edifice EFB-730D-2BV and EFB-730D-3AV watches will be released, or how much they will cost. As a guide on the pricing, in the US, the older EFB730D-1AV, or EFB-730D-1AV, retails for $165 (curr. $101.30 at Amazon).
Update: these watches have since appeared at the Casio UK online store.
