Mobvoi Home Walking Treadmill launches for effortless personal smart fitness

Mobvoi claims to have streamlined and "simplified" its latest Home Treadmill to the greatest extent possible, to the point that it no longer requires a safety clip, a folding design or even a front-mounted stand for that matter.

Nevertheless, the new Mobvoi Home Walking Treadmill is still rated to be able to connect and integrate with other smart devices, allowing the user to keep up with their home fitness content via their TVs, for example. It also has a 7-segment LED display for a speed, time, distance and/or calorie-burning status read-out "at your fingertips", as well as its own remote control. 

The Home Walking Treadmill is rated to support running as well as walking, albeit from 0.6 to 3.8 miles per hour (mph), and can be set to modes from "mindful" walking to a "brisk" hike. It is also backed to fit in anywhere around a home, under a desk included, yet to pack components such as a "5-ply running belt" and  shock absorption in a durable frame.

The new treadmill is also capable of syncing with smartwatches such as those of the TicWatch series. It has been released via Mobvoi and Amazon at a starting price of $219.99.
