Microsoft Store welcomes Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Devices
Introduced in 2023 for Windows users as preview-stage apps, Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Devices are finally available via Microsoft Store as mature products for everyone. These apps were released with the goal of replacing iTunes for Windows users, the once popular app which is no longer maintained on macOS, although it has been supported on Windows until the end of 2023.
While Android users have high regard for alternatives such as YouTube Music, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Spotify, and so on, Apple Music reigns supreme amongst iPhone users. However, those who dabble with devices from both worlds are now able to fully enjoy a proper interaction between the platforms thanks to Apple Music and Apple TV.
Apple Devices, on the other hand, can be used to back up iPhone data to a Windows device. This way, the users no longer need to use iCloud for backup purposes. For now, the only drawback of this approach is that Apple Devices does not support wireless connection to the devices to backup.
These three apps still have plenty of roon of improvement, since their current ratings on Microsoft Store are 3.4 (Apple Devices and Apple Music) and 3.9 (Apple TV). Those who don't have an iPhone yet can grab the 256 GB iPhone X (fully unlocked) in Space Gray finish for $1,104.03 on Amazon.
