Deal | Lenovo clearing stock on ThinkCentre M90n mini PC with Core i5, 512 GB SSD, and 8 GB of RAM for $399 USD
Now almost one-year old, the ThinkCentre M90n Nano has dropped in price from its original MSRP of over $1000 USD to just under $400. We suspect that Lenovo is simply clearing inventory of these units to make room for a potential successor or refresh later in the year. Its 9th gen Core i5-8265U CPU in the model, for example, has already been superceded by the 10th gen Comet Lake-U and Ice Lake series.
The ThinkCentre M90n targets businesses with its unassuming form factor and ability to attach to monitors. The model is one of the very few mini PCs to lack an integrated HDMI port as a result which will inevitably annoy a lot of users. Fortunately, an HDMI adapter is included in every box.
Home users will find a lot of value from the Lenovo box even though it wasn't designed specifically for them. The small size works well as an HTPC or home office and the Core i5-8265U CPU is more than sufficient for powering 4K monitors and 4K video playback especially when compared to lesser Celeron or Atom alternatives.
The biggest drawback to the unit is that RAM is fixed meaning users will be stuck with 8 GB of RAM for the life of the product.
