Lenovo has quietly released the ThinkPad X13 2-in-1 G5, a refresh that adds Intel Core Ultra processors but drops ThinkPad Yoga branding. While Lenovo claims that the 2-in-1 will be available later next month, the machine is already orderable in the US.

Last week, we reported that Lenovo had disclosed early information about the ThinkPad X13 2-in-1 Gen 5 (G5), one of two new machines to sport the 'ThinkPad X13' name. For context, the other is the ThinkPad X13 G5, which Lenovo distinguishes from its 2-in-1 counterpart by including more powerful Intel Core Ultra-H processors, among other differences. While Lenovo's Product Specifications Reference (PSREF) database did not reveal full details about the ThinkPad X13 2-in-1 G5, it has now outlined pricing and availability.

In a press release, Lenovo writes that the ThinkPad X13 2-in-1 G5 will launch next month in the US starting at $1,399. Surprisingly, the company is already selling the ThinkPad X13 2-in-1 G5 in the US. However, all SKUs cost considerably more than the pricing contained within its press release.

Currently, the machine starts at $2,279 with a Core Ultra 5 125U processor, 16 GB of LPDDR5x-6400 RAM, 512 GB of PCIe 4.0 storage, a 41 Wh battery and a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel (WUXGA) IPS display that delivers 300 nits peak brightness and a 60 Hz refresh rate with an anti-glare finish. Alternatively, the ThinkPad X13 2-in-1 G5 can be ordered with Core Ultra 5 135U, Core Ultra 7 155U and Core Ultra 7 165U processors for $2,439, $2,739 and $2,929, respectively. As far as we can tell, deliveries should begin for these SKUs on March 25, although we imagine that Lenovo will expand its ThinkPad X13 2-in-1 G5 options early next month.
