Few laptops are as visually striking as the Lenovo Yoga Book 9 series. The original 13.3-inch model was notable for its twin OLED touchscreens in a convertible form factor and the latest 14-inch model expands on the idea with even larger displays, an updated processor, and faster refresh rates. Perhaps more surprisingly, the new model manages to be slightly lighter than its smaller sibling despite the size and performance upgrades.
As shown by the comparison image below, the 14-inch Yoga Book 9 is only 1214 g while the older 13.3-inch Yoga Book 9 is 1346 g. If accounting for their respective removable keyboards, the Yoga Book 9 14 weighs 1554 g while the Yoga Book 9 13 is 1588g. The keyboard for the Yoga Book 9 14 is wider and with more keys than the keyboard for the Yoga Book 9 13 which contributes to its heavier weight.
Unfortunately as mentioned in review of the model, the Yoga Book 9 14 is very difficult to use without its removable keyboard and external mouse as the virtual keyboard and clickpad aren't exactly ergonomic. Thus, you'll almost always want to carry a keyboard and mouse with you when traveling which can make the system feel clunky despite its sleek design. Good luck trying to use the Yoga Book 9 14 on a plane or train ride, for example, as its displays and external input devices require more table space than a traditional laptop.
