Huawei P50 cases are beginning to appear up online, sporting the same massive camera housing shown in leaked renders. Huawei is expected to launch the P50 series next month.

Last month, OnLeaks published renders of the P50 and P50 Pro, Huawei's flagships of 1H 2021. Now, P50 cases have sprung up online, reaffirming that the series will feature the striking camera housing design shown by OnLeaks.

The cases all show the P50 with two rear-facing cameras, matching OnLeaks renders. Apparently, one of these cameras will be the Sony IMX800, a 1-inch CMOS sensor that would be even larger than the ISOCELL GN2. The latter has a 1/1.12-inch sensor and is soon to be found in the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra.

@RODENT950 remains unconvinced though, who is a reliable Huawei insider. We would not rule out these case designers having copied OnLeaks design, given his accuracy to date. It would be unusual for Huawei to release a flagship smartphone with just two rear-facing cameras, so those two large apertures may contain several sensors each, as shown below. Either way, Huawei is expected to reveal the P50 series next month.
