Garmin has released a new update for two of its Venu smartwatches. The third in its latest development cycle, Beta 15.02 focuses on two outstanding bugs relating to Garmin's golf and swimming activities.

Garmin has delivered a fresh update for its Venu 3 and Venu 3S (curr. $459.99 on Amazon) smartwatches enrolled on its Beta Program. To recap, the company has left its stable software branch running Software Version 14.15 since mid-May. Meanwhile, it has been busying itself with v15.xx builds, which it kicked off over a month ago.

Now, it has started offering the third build in this cycle, which it is distributing as Beta 15.02. In a forum post, Garmin implies that the new update should be offered automatically at some stage. If that does not occur, then you can download Beta 15.02 manually by tapping 'Check for Updates' after selecting Main menu, Settings, System and then Software Update.

According to the company, Beta 15.02 is a relatively minor update aimed at addressing two outstanding bugs. On the one hand, the new software should fix an issue that could cause wheelchair push counts to increase during swimming activities. On the other hand, golf auto-shot should work as intended again once Beta 15.02 is installed. Please see Garmin's forum post for more details.
