Samsung could unveil the Galaxy S25 FE as soon as September 19 in South Korea and shortly after in the US. That being said, much of what the phone will offer has been leaked in some form. The SoC, however, seems to be a point of contention with contradictory reports popping up. According to an alleged retailer listing, the Galaxy S25 FE will come with the same SoC as the Galaxy S24 FE, and not the Exynos 2400e as expected.
The information comes from WinFuture who claim to have spotted a listing for the phone on the Tesco website. While the listing does not seem to be available anymore, the report states that the phone will be powered by the Exynos 2400e SoC. It was originally expected that this SoC, which was present in the Galaxy S24 FE, will make a return for this generation as well. However, a more recent leak hinted at the Exynos 2400 being used for the Galaxy S25 FE.
On paper, there is only a 100 MHz difference between the two SoCs with the Exynos 2400e being more focussed on power efficiency. Realistically, there shouldn’t be any performance difference between the two.
Now, it looks like the SoC is another thing that Samsung hasn’t changed for the Galaxy S25 FE. The design for the phone is quite similar and so is the size. The Galaxy S25 FE is said to be slightly slimmer and lighter, but still house a larger battery at 4,900 mAh. It is expected to come in four colors, namely, Icy Blue, Navy, Jet Black and White.
Samsung had confirmed recently that it will unveil the Galaxy S25 FE sooner than it did the Galaxy S24 FE last year. Now this could be for the South Korean market and the US could see the phone a bit later. There is also a possibility that the US market could get the phone sooner since that was the case with the Galaxy S24 FE.
