Epson has released four portable projectors in its new Lifestudio range in Europe. The Flex EF-72, Flex EF-71, Pop EF-62 and Pop EF-61 models have been released alongside the ultra-short throw Grand EH-LS670.
Each of these portable Epson Lifestudio projectors uses 3LCD technology, with a maximum image size of 150 inches and a 1.20:1 throw ratio. They are marketed as offering an over 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, with automatic keystone correction and support for HDR10 and HLG content. These projectors use the Google TV interface, with Google Assistant voice commands, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and ports like HDMI (ARC/eARC) and USB 2.0. Plus, they have integrated Sound by Bose speakers with four specially tuned sound modes.
The entry-level Lifestudio Pop EF-61 is a Full HD 1080p model with up to 700 ISO lumens brightness. It is priced at £649.99/€749.99 and available in three colors: Diamond White, Ice Green and Rose Quartz. Next in the range is the Lifestudio Pop EF-62, which has a 4K Pro-UHD resolution, though with the same maximum brightness level. This model retails for £799.99/€939.99, with customers choosing between Metallic Black and Metallic Navy colors.
The cheaper Lifestudio Flex model is the EF-71, a 1080p Full HD model with up to 700 lumens brightness. It differs from the Pop EF-61 as it has an integrated tiltable stand. With a Diamond White finish, it costs £880.00/€1,049.99. At the top of the range is the Lifestudio Flex EF-72, a 4K Pro-UHD model with a higher maximum brightness of 1,000 ISO lumens. It also has a built-in adjustable angle stand, as well as an ambient light. In Europe, it has a £1,150.00/€1,349.99 RRP.
