Casio G-Shock MRG-BF1000 Goliath Frogman watch now available in the UK

The Casio G-Shock MRG-BF1000 Goliath Frogman watch is now available in the UK. This model was officially unveiled at the end of April and is also currently available to pre-order in Japan.

At the G-Shock UK store, you can buy the Casio G-Shock MRG-BF1000RG-3A Goliath Frogman watch for £4,400. However, the G-Shock Expert appointment booking system suggests that the model has yet to reach physical stores.

The MRG-BF1000RG-3A watch is made for divers with a rust-resistant titanium casing, anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass, and 200 m water resistance. Its design is inspired by the goliath frog, reflected in the khaki Dura Soft fluoro rubber strap, which is said to be particularly comfortable. Plus, there are orange accents and beige Neobrite indexes to help you read the watch in low lighting.

Features include Dive Mode, allowing you to track your dive times and surface intervals or monitor tide conditions. Your diving log can be viewed in the Casio Watches smartphone app thanks to Bluetooth connectivity; in the app, you can also control various settings linked to the tide graph and the time. There is support for dual world time zones, a 1-second stopwatch, a countdown timer and an alarm. Plus, a white LED backlight ensures you can read the display at all times, and Tough Solar charging helps to extend the watch’s battery life.

It is rumored that the Casio G-Shock MRG-BF1000 Goliath Frogman watch could launch in the US on May 15th for $4,300. Details of a wide European launch have yet to be confirmed.
