Apple has released three new colours for the Beats Studio Buds, a cheaper alternative to the AirPods Pro. The Beats Studio Buds now come in six colours, including Sunset Pink. Simultaneously, the Beats app for Android has received new features, courtesy of 'Locate My Beats' functionality.

The Beats Studio Buds has received a colourful refresh. As expected, the earbuds have been refreshed in Moon Grey, Ocean Blue and Sunset Pink colourways, all for US$149.99. The trio of new colours expands the Beats Studio Buds lineup to six, with Beats Red, Black and White remaining available through the Apple and Beats websites.

While Apple and Beats have launched the new colours outside the US, not all new colours will be orderable from third-party retailers. According to MacRumors, Amazon will be the only retailer to sell Moon Grey, with Ocean Blue a Best Buy exclusive. In comparison, Target will sell Sunset Pink.

Incidentally, the Beats App for Android now supports 'Locate My Beats'. As its name suggests, the feature allows people to locate their earbuds when needed. Additionally, the Android app has gained the ability to view Beats Studio Buds' battery life information and control listening modes on the fly, including enabling active noise cancellation and transparency mode.
