Acer TV has launched the W Series 4K Ultra HD QLED Smart Android TV in India. The 55-in and 65-in models have a 60 Hz refresh rate panel with 4K upscaling and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Features include built-in Google Assistant, Google Chromecast and an HDMI ARC port.

The Acer W Series 4K Ultra HD QLED Smart Android TV has been launched in India. The gadget has a 60 Hz refresh rate display and is compatible with Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG. The TV, available in 55-in and 65-in sizes, has MEMC motion smooth technology, 4K upscaling, and the display covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. 

The W Series Android TV features Google Assistant voice commands, Chromecast content sharing from mobile devices and a motion sensor. You can also stream content from popular services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. The gadget comes with a built-in 30 W sound system producing a surround sound experience, with support for Dolby Atmos. You can connect to the TV via various ports, including HDMI 2.1, HDMI ARC, USB, Ethernet or SPDIF.

You can currently buy the 55-in model of the Acer W Series 3K Ultra HD QLED Smart Android TV in India for the discounted price of ₹69,999 (~US$851) at Amazon and Flipkart. The device is expected to retail for ₹99,990 (~US$1,215) in the future. The larger 65-in model is available with a 39% price cut for ₹89,999 (~US$1,094) at the same stores, with a ₹149,999 (~US$1,823) MSRP. It is unclear whether or when the model could launch in other markets.
