The XGIMI MoGo Pro is currently discounted in the US. At Amazon, you can now buy the device for US$299, a US$200 of 40% discount on the regular retail price of US$499. The same offer is also available at the XGIMI online store.
The portable MoGo Pro has a native 1080p resolution, supporting 4K formats, and can project images up to 200-in (~508 cm) wide with a 1.2:1 throw ratio. An LED light source with a 30,000-hour life expectancy delivers up to 300 ANSI lumens brightness, and you can quickly perfect the picture with automatic vertical keystone correction and autofocus tools. The projector runs on Android TV, allowing you to download popular streaming apps such as Disney+ and YouTube. Alternatively, you can cast content from a mobile device using Google Chromecast. Plus, you can control the gadget with Google Assistant voice commands. The projector has two integrated 3 W speakers from Harman Kardon, compatible with Dolby Audio.
You can connect your smartphone via Bluetooth or a 3.5 mm audio jack to play music through the device; other ports include USB and HDMI ARC. The battery-powered device can be used outdoors, providing up to 2.5 hours of video playback on a single charge thanks to a 44.64 Wh battery. The gadget measures 146 x 105.5 x 94.5 mm (~5.75 x 4.15 x 3.72-in) and weighs 0.9 kg (~1.98 lbs). The company recently announced the release of the XGIMI Mogo 2 and XGIMI Mogo 2 Pro, with the device due to go on sale in the US from April 25 for US$399 and US$599, respectively.
