Acer PD163QT debuts as more affordable dual portable monitor with in-built sound
Computex 2025Acer has augmented its Computex 2025 showcase with the PD163QT, another accessory touted to elevate the user's productivity by supplying them with a second and even a third monitor on its deployment.
The portable display should be able to support itself in either portrait or landscape mode with its elegantly integrated stand. It can also work in 'tent' mode in order to let someone else at a table use one of its screens.
Both of them are made of IPS-LCD and have the same FHD resolution and very standard 60Hz refresh rate. Unlike some other dual portable monitors, its color accuracy might miss the mark at 72% of the NTSC color gamut.
The PD163QT does have dual speakers in addition to its 3.5mm jack, though, whereas some of its competitors might not even have 1 (even though they are both rated for just 2 watts of output).
The monitor also has dual USB-C ports, which it can also use to charge. HDMI is also present, although its single port is of the older 1.4 standard.
Acer might make up for the PD163QT's shortcomings with its price, which is set at €399 on its July 2025 release.
