Acer’s custom Radeon RX 9060 XT Nitro GPU has surfaced online ahead of its expected debut at Computex 2025. The card features a new dual-fan, dual-slot design with three display outputs and a single 8-pin power connector.
As per some recent reports online, it looks like Acer is gearing up to showcase its custom Radeon RX 9060 XT Nitro graphics card at Computex 2025. The images of the unreleased GPU have surfaced online, which were spotted by @momomo_us on X - a credible leaker. Further, there have been earlier reports about the RX 9060 XT arriving in May 2025 as well as some premature listings online.
According to the leak, the Acer Nitro RX 9060 XT features a new dual-slot, dual-fan cooling design enclosed in a grey case with visible Nitro branding. The upcoming GPU marks Acer’s next entry in the Radeon RX 9000 series lineup following its RX 9070 cards.
The new Nitro model draws power through a single 8-pin PCIe connector and sports an unusual triple display output setup - two DisplayPorts and one HDMI 2.1 port. This deviates from the typical four-output layout, prompting speculation about cost-saving measures or a unique design choice exclusive to Acer’s variant.
The RX 9060 XT itself is based on AMD’s Navi 44 GPU die and will compete directly with NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 Ti. Leaks indicate that AMD will launch the GPU at Computex, offering two memory configurations - 16GB and 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM. The 16GB model is AMD’s current focus, with a likely MSRP of around $400, while the 8GB variant may arrive later at a reduced price point of $300 to $350.
As far as performance is concerned, the RX 9060 XT is expected to include 2048 Stream Processors and a TDP of approximately 200W. While full specifications are yet to be confirmed, Acer's Nitro edition is likely to appeal to budget-conscious gamers seeking a more affordable alternative to Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti.
