Hubsan has launched the Zino Mini Pro 2025. It’s a new lightweight drone that is offered with two different camera sensors, namely a 1/1.3-inch sensor for $525 or a 1/2.6-inch sensor for $435. Unfortunately, the DJI alternative is not available in the US at this time, but it ships to many European countries.
The drone weighs just under 250 grams (8.8 ounces), which has an impact on the legal operation of this drone in many countries. Despite the low weight, the camera can take photos with a resolution of up to 8000 x 6000 pixels and record 4K videos at 3840 x 2160 pixels and 30 frames per second. Smoother videos with 60 fps can be recorded by decreasing the resolution to 2720 x 1530 pixels.
The drone also features a gimbal, which is intended to stabilize the camera in order to create sharp photos and videos even in windy conditions. The gimbal can adjust all three axes - yaw, pitch and roll. Meanwhile, the Hubsan Zino Mini Pro 2025 is controlled via the included remote, but a smartphone app can be used alternatively.
The drone comes with GPS and a follow-me mode. The manufacturer further advertises a speed of up to 27 miles per hour, while a full battery charge should last about 28 minutes at a speed of 15 mph and no wind. Last but not least, the DJI Mini competitor has a range of up to 7.4 miles and uses a microSD card to store its photos and 4K videos.
