Thirty-five years after its release, City Hunter will be making a comeback on modern consoles, much to the delight of fans. And that's not all, because a big new feature has been announced.

The Tokyo Game Show has many surprises in store for gamers around the world, such as the announcement of Forza Horizon 6, which will take place in Japan. And recently, a new one will delight thousands of players, since it concerns City Hunter.

Indeed, 35 years after its release in 1990, it will be available on modern consoles. In other words, it will be possible to play it on the PS5, Xbox Series X and S, both Nintendo Switch and PC. Note that a physical version for Nintendo Switch and PS5 will also be available in Europe on March 26, 2026, thanks to the work of Red Art Games.

But that's not all, because this version of City Hunter will be fully translated, offering a more immersive experience for everyone. Finally, for fans of this game, a collector's edition including a steelbook and an acrylic stand will soon be available on the official website.

Thus, if you want to dive back into this unique universe and indulge in a bit of nostalgia, you can pre-order City Hunter on your favorite platform. But be warned, you won't be able to play it until February 26, 2026, so you'll need to be patient.
