The iPhone 16, 15, 14 and 13 have all been released with the exact same size of screen year after year - although that is thought to finally come to an end with the upcoming 17. Now, a popular case-maker has reportedly slipped up and revealed that the smartphone is indeed set to come with a larger display in 2025.

Spigen has a variant of its GlasTR EZ FIT Tempered Glass Screen Protector (currently $18.99 for a pack of 2 on Amazon.com) that fits the iPhone 16 Pro, but not its vanilla 16 counterpart, as their screens are 6.3 and 6.1 inches in diagonal length respectively.

The accessory might be able to fit the allegedly upcoming 17, according to a new leak. The well-known device protective equipment OEM has reportedly been rehearsing an update to its Amazon sales pages in India that spilled that information to the public for a brief time.

The page has now reverted to referencing pre-existing devices only; however, its alleged brief edit is now being taken as evidence that the iPhone 17 will have the same display size as the 16 Pro (not to mention the 17 Pro).

The leak might almost be taken to suggest that the 17 will have the same 120Hz LTPO panel as the 16 Pro - then again, the newer device is also thought to lack some of that screen's higher-end attributes, its always-on mode included.

Accordingly, the iPhone 17 might have a comprehensively re-designed chassis, as it is also thought to be thinner and lighter than the 16 on its late 2025 launch.
