iPhone 13 could arrive on September 17, AirPods 3 might follow two weeks later
If the latest rumors turn out to be true, Apple is taking an interesting approach on the launch of the iPhone 13 and the third-generation AirPods. Although the allegedly ill-fated version number remains in place (some superstitious buyers would surely be happier with iPhone 12 Bis or maybe with a direct jump to iPhone 14), Apple is apparently planning to launch the iPhone 13 and the AirPods 3 precisely 13 days away from each other.
If the information contained in the image that has recently surfaced on the Chinese website IT Home matches Apple's plans, the iPhone 13 will be unleashed on Friday, September 17. According to the same source, the AirPods 3 will be unveiled on Thursday, September 30.
Although there aren't any details to mention, the source mentioned above reveals iOS 15 as the operating system preloaded on the upcoming handsets and the following iPhone 13 models: regular, mini, Pro, and Pro Max. The leaks also hinted at a heavy focus on camera capabilities, including ProRes and portrait mode for videos, alongside a smaller notch, more generous power packs, and improved performance overall.
Since the launch dates mentioned are in line with other recent leaks, which mention the third week of September for the arrival of the iPhone 13.
