Zotac has announced two new compact PCs with Intel Meteor Lake processors. The Zotac ZBOX CI671 nano and ZBOX CI651 nano are completely fanless and come with Intel Core Ultra processors (Arc graphics not included) and a load of I/O.

Zotac unveiled the ZBOX Edge MI672 and ZBOX Edge MI652 mini PCs today. The company has also refreshed its "C" line of small-form-factor machines with Intel Meteor Lake processors. Like its predecessors, the Zotac ZBOX CI651 nano and CI671 nano are passively cooled with no moving parts. Their price and availability will be revealed at a later point.

Lack of active cooling on the Zotac ZBOX CI671 nano and ZBOX CI651 nano doesn't affect its CPU choices, with the former using an Intel Core Ultra 7 155U and the latter a Core Ultra 5 125U. However, the Intel Arc graphics feature suite isn't supported, meaning users have to make do with a regular Meteor Lake iGPU. Both the mini PCs can output three 4K 60 Hz streams via the two DP 1.4 and one HDMI 2.1 ports. Other I/O includes:

  • 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A (front)
  • 3.5mm audio (front)
  • 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A (rear)
  • 1x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C (rear)
  • 1x USB 2.0 Type-A (rear)
  • RJ45 gigabit Ethernet (rear)

The Zotac ZBOX CI671 nano and ZBOX CI651 nano can accommodate one PCIe Gen4 NVMe 2280 SSD and a similarly-specced SATA drive. One can pair that with up to 64 GB of DDR5 5,600 MT/s memory. Wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Both mini PCs come in a 1.8 liter chassis and weigh 204 x 129x 68 mm (8.03 x 5.08 x 2.68 in). They are also compatible with standard VESA mounts.
