Nintendo Switch owners looking for their next action-RPG adventure can currently pick up Ys Origin for just $1.99, representing a massive 90% discount on its usual $19.99 asking price. This is the game's lowest price ever on the Nintendo eShop, with the offer scheduled to run until November 19. Originally released in 2006, the action-RPG eventually made its way to Nintendo's hybrid console in October 2020.

Developed by Nihon Falcom, Ys Origin takes place 700 years before the events of the original Ys games. Following a devastating demonic invasion, two goddesses use their powers to transport the inhabitants of Ys into the heavens. However, their subsequent disappearance leaves the kingdom vulnerable, prompting a desperate search for the missing deities.
