Model: The ZTE Blade V8 is an affordable new option that packs a fancy dual camera system on the rear side, just like some expensive flagships. Packing a 2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 CPU, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, the Blade V8 Pro's overall performance compares well to that of its peers. The hardware specification is sufficiently armed for some moderate multitasking. For more storage, the Blade V8 dual SIM card tray has one slot that also doubles as a microSD card reader, capable of adding up to 128 GB of storage. The handset features a metal band around its frame with attractive bevelled edges, 2.5 D curved glass, and a subtly arching back panel. The phone's rear is crafted out of rubberized plastic. This makes the Blade V8 Pro a solid, sturdy and nice looking smartphone. The Blade V8 Pro also features a modern USB Type-C connector on the handsets bottom edge where it sits next to the phone's speaker, and a headphone jack on the top edge. ZTE makes the interesting choice to go with a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, integrated into the home button. The ZTE Blade V8 is thicker, taller, heavier, and just generally feels bulkier.
The combination of that Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chip and the Blade V8 Pro's 3,140 mAh battery adds up to a phone that won't struggle to achieve day-long battery life. Besides that, the ZTE Blade V8 Pro charges really fast with its included fast charger. That huge battery went from zero to full in ninety minutes. The Blade V8 Pro comes with Android 6.0 out of the box, which isn't the most recent version of the Android operating system. However, the implementation is pretty close to stock and does not come with a lot of bloats which is good. ZTE hooks the Blade V8 Pro up with a 5.5-inch screen offering a 1080 x 1920 resolution, a combination which is considered as mid-range display these days. It is big enough to scratch that phablet itch that so inescapably has infiltrated phone design, while also providing a suitably sharp screen. The Blade V8 Pro registered a strong 430 nits of brightness, which is around the 432 nit average for smartphones. The Blade V8 features an 8 MP front camera in front, which delivers solid selfies and two 13 MP shooters in the back. ZTE's camera menu did a good job of highlighting the dual-camera functions by adding an option for Dual next to the standard Photo and Video settings on camera app's mode dial. This immediately calls attention to the camera's extra functionality. When the button is touched, the user can select from one of three options: Bokeh, Monocolor and Monochrome. The latter two options allow the user to take black-and-white photos or photos with selective colours. Bokeh simulates varying depths of field.

5.20":
It is a very small display format for smartphones. You should by no means be mis-sighted and you will generally see very little on the screen and only have a small resolution available. In return, the device should be very small and handy.

ZTE is short for Zhong Xing Telecommunication Equipment Company Limited, which was founded in China in 1985 and is partly state-owned. ZTE's core business is wireless, optical transmission, data transmission equipment, telecommunications software and cell phones, USB sticks, routers and tablets.
74.83%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
