Model: The BQ Aquaris V Plus is the best of the latest range launched by the Spanish firm for the mid-range market. BQ seems to be taking the right path to becoming more and more prominent in the mid-range market. It is a smartphone with good materials and specifications at an affordable price. This new range V of BQ is placed between the U range and the X range, as in the alphabet. The design of this BQ Aquaris V Plus is elegant and simple. This V Plus has rounded edges, opts for 2.5D glass and good manufacturing materials. The Spanish firm has chosen to manufacture the V Plus in metal in its entirety. The fingerprint sensor already installed in a lot of mid-range smartphones is located just below the camera and seems even with the second camera because it has the same size. This Aquaris V Plus has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen. It has Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 423 PPI. In addition, NEG Dinorex protects it for falls and scratches. It has a maximum brightness of up to 570 nits that make it all-terrain to see even in the sun. Its good viewing angles are good and the screen is large enough to have two applications open thanks to Android Nougat.
Belonging to the mid-range does not mean a user can not have a good photographic sensor. This BQ Aquaris V Plus has a sensor manufactured by Sony, the IMX386 model, which is a 12 MP rear camera. This sensor is the same as in other smartphones including the Xiaomi Mi6, Moto Z2 Force, and Meizu Pro 7. As for the front camera, it has an 8 MP sensor. The Aquaris V Plus' front camera has a flash to give that touch of very needed light. Face Beauty mode helps create an even and flawless effect. In manual mode, a user can change the focus distance, white balance, ISO and shutter speed. This Aquaris V Plus features the latest Qualcomm 400 processor. A processor that gives good results when handling heavy applications. Although it suffers a bit from powerful games or moving between demanding applications. It is appreciated to have 3 GB of RAM. BQ has chosen to incorporate software that is very close to what is Android by default. It has the drop-down application drawer sliding up and so on. Autonomy has always been something in which BQ has gone with its head held high. The non-removable Li-Po 3400 mAh battery ensures a good battery life of more than 36 hours of use and the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 system is able to charge up to 50 % in little more than half an hour. The BQ Aquaris V Plus is a perfect example of a good mid-range phone.

5.50":
This display is quite big for a smartphone but frequently used for smartphones.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.0.183 kg:
Only few smartphones are more lightweight than this.
BQ:
BQ is a Spanish company of the Mundo Reader S.L Group, which develops smartphones, tablets, 3D printers and robots.
The market shares are low and mainly concentrate on Europe. The number of reviews is quite low and the achieved ratings are average (as of 2016).
A Russian company with the same name sells smartphones. This BQ is independant from the Spanish brand.
76.75%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
