Teased ahead of an expected launch later this month, camera samples show the Xperia 1 II offering better low-light performance than its predecessor. The device, which will retail for over €1,000 at launch, will come pre-installed with a new Photography Pro app, too.
Alex Alderson,

Sony has been showing off the camera capabilities of the Xperia 1 II ahead of its anticipated release. Shared with members of the Japanese media and published by MyNavi, Sony is pushing the Alpha-inspired features that the Xperia 1 II offers.

The Xperia 1 II is Sony's first smartphone with a ZEISS lens. Expected to arrive by the end of this month, the Xperia 1 II has three 12 MP rear-facing cameras and a 3D iToF camera. As the images below demonstrate, the Xperia 1 II has better low-light capabilities than its predecessor.
