Xiaomi will debut the Redmi Watch 2 and Redmi Note 11 series on the same day—October 28. While the Redmi Note 11 series dominates the headlines, Xiaomi is also actively teasing the Redmi Watch 2 and has now revealed some important details of the smartwatch.
Going by posts the company shared on its official social media pages in China, the Redmi Watch 2 will feature a new AMOLED display. That confirms Digital Chat Station's earlier take on the upcoming smartwatch. Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Watch 2 will feature a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with thinner bezels, better colors, and an improved screen-to-body ratio.
In addition to that, Xiaomi says the Redmi Watch 2 will sport a built-in massive dial:
Redmi Watch 2 has a built-in massive dial.
A "mechanical wind" with a sense of science and technology.
Vigorous full marks "sports style".
There is a soft and cute "IP dial" that melts the girl's heart.
AMOLED large screen makes every wrist lift extraordinary.
Or something in that vein anyway. As previously mentioned, the Redmi Watch 2 will debut alongside the Redmi Note 11 series on October 28 in China. Pricing remains unknown but it can be expected to be affordable, as is typical of Redmi products.
