Xiaomi confirms new MIUI 14 rollout for another 16 devices

Xiaomi has announced the next stage of its MIUI 14 global rollout. To recap, the company initially revealed that 18 smartphones were in line for the last version of its OS, which included recent flagships like the Mi 11, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12T series. Subsequently, it confirmed plans to upgrade nearly a dozen POCO smartphones, although these would receive MIUI 14 throughout Q2 and Q3 2023.

Writing on Twitter, the company has now confirmed that MIUI 14 is also headed to various 10th-generation smartphones, as well as a few tablets. As the image below shows, Xiaomi intends to upgrade the following devices to MIUI 14 throughout this quarter:

• Redmi Note 10 5G
• Redmi Note 10 JE

• Xiaomi Pad 5

Please note that an upgrade to MIUI 14 does not guarantee that your device will also receive Android 13. Instead, Xiaomi bases MIUI 14 on Android 12 and Android 13. The company also notes that it will release a second POCO devices rollout plan separately. Additionally, it will issue a dedicated release schedule for devices sold in India, likely through its MIUI India Twitter channel.
