The Xiaomi Watch S4 was first announced in late October 2024 in China before a global version was announced in March 2025. Although unlike in China where the watch is available in Bluetooth and eSIM variants, only the former is available outside China. Last month Xiaomi announced a 15th anniversary edition of the smartwatch that's powered by the Xring T1, Xiaomi's first 4G smartwatch chip. However, it doesn't seem to be done with the smartwatch yet.
A leak has revealed that the Xiaomi Watch S4 will be getting yet another variant. According to Digital Chat Station, a variant of the smartwatch which will launch as the Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm has been certified in China.
This version of the Watch S4 has the model number M2502W1 whereas the standard S4 has the model number 'M2425W1', the eSIM version has the model number 'M2424W1', while the Xiaomi Watch S4 eSIM 15th anniversary edition has the model number 'M2426W1'.
Based on the name, it can be deduced that this is a smaller version of the Xiaomi Watch S4. The original model, including the 15th anniversary edition, has a 47.3mm case size which can be too large for those with a small wrist size.
There are no details yet about the specifications of the Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm, but it is obvious it will have a smaller display and a smaller battery capacity, and thus reduced battery life. In addition, it might be available in colors different from those of its siblings. However, it is not known if this model will have an eSIM version that is powered by the new Xring T1 chip.
The Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm (curr. available on Amazon.de for €139.28) is expected to launch alongside the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 and a special variant of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
