The Xiaomi Watch S4 15th Anniversary Edition has arrived only a few months after Xiaomi released the regular Watch S4 globally. Available in striking black and green colourways, the Watch S4 15th Anniversary Edition represents the first outing for Xiaomi's Xring T1 in-house chipset.

Xiaomi has refreshed its Watch S4 smartwatch, two months after it released the regular Watch S4 globally to replace its popular Watch S4 (curr. $128.99 on Amazon). Presented alongside the Civi 5 Pro, Xiaomi 15S Pro and Pad 7 Ultra, the '15th Anniversary Edition' is more than just a cosmetic refresh. With that being said, Xiaomi has given its new smartwatch a redesign too that helps it stand out from the regular Watch S4.

As Xiaomi's inscription suggests, the Watch S4 15th Anniversary Edition is the first smartwatch that features an Xring chipset just like the Xiaomi 15S Pro and Pad 7 Ultra for smartphones and tablets, respectively. Another in-house chipset, the Xring T1 is said to be power efficient enough to provide up to 9 days of battery life even with the smartwatch's eSIM functionality enabled. Not only that, but the integrated modem improves network performance by up to 35% in official tests.

On top of that, the anniversary edition introduces features like offering a real-time preview of paired smartphone's camera. Also, the smartwatch is able to unlock Xiaomi vehicles, unlike its peers. Currently, Xiaomi sells the 15th Anniversary Edition in Black and Green Flame finishes for CNY 1,299 (~$180) each. The company has not hinted whether it plans to sell its anniversary edition globally yet, though.
