Xiaomi Smart Band 11 could launch in four versions with a new premium option

Xiaomi appears to be preparing at least four versions of the Smart Band 11 (not to be confused with the Smart Band 11 Active— that’s an entirely different SKU), including a new all-metal model. MyDrivers unearthed the evidence from Xiaomi's own Health Research app, which listed the upcoming wearables by name and, as an added bonus, also included renders for several of them.

The app names four distinct models: the Xiaomi Smart Band 11, Smart Band 11 NFC Edition, Smart Band 11 Ceramic Edition and Smart Band 11 All-metal Edition. Earlier regulatory sightings had only pointed to the standard and NFC-equipped versions, and now it looks like they will be joined by two more siblings.

Exactly what Xiaomi means by "All-metal Edition" remains unclear. The designation strongly suggests a more extensive use of metal than on the regular model, but the app does not reveal whether that applies to the entire enclosure, the frame alone or something else. Xiaomi currently sells the Smart Band 10 with aluminium-alloy and ceramic finishes, but none of them is explicitly marketed as all-metal.

Some details about the regular Smart Band 11 had already surfaced earlier. Two Xiaomi wearables with the model numbers M2616B1 and M2617B1 passed Chinese radio certification in June and have been linked to the upcoming fitness trackers.

There’s no word about the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 launch, but MyDrivers suggests a September debut could be possible alongside a plethora of other Xiaomi products, such as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6-powered Xiaomi 18.
