Xiaomi has fully unveiled the Redmi Note 15 series in China on August 21, 2025, and it's unclear when this mid-range phone lineup will see a global release. Of course, international buyers who are interested in getting the devices from the series earlier than their global launch can now import them from Giztop.
The vanilla Redmi Note 15 starts at $179, while the base configuration of the Pro model is currently available at $239. As for the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, its starting price is $329 on Giztop. For reference, Xiaomi has put a starting price tag of CNY 999 (about $139) on the vanilla model, CNY 1,399 (around $195) on the Pro, and CNY 1,899 (about $265) on the Pro Plus in China.
While the import prices are quite decent when compared to the launch pricing in China, it's worth mentioning that the Chinese Redmi Note 15 phones will come with the non-global version of HyperOS. There will be support for multiple languages, and Giztop also notes that the devices will ship with Google Play Store and GMS.
However, Chinese firmware is known to not support some features that are available on the global counterparts. For example, Android Auto doesn't work on Chinese Android ROMs.
Another thing to note is the supported network bands, especially in terms of 5G connectivity. Chinese phones are not known for having a wide global network band support. It's also worth mentioning that while Giztop appears to have a decent warranty policy, it's not the same as the official warranty that Xiaomi offers.
As for the phones themselves, the Redmi Note 15 series has decently-equipped mid to upper-mid range phones. The large-sized battery is a notable aspect of the vanilla model for the price range that it sits in, while the other two have seen multiple upgrades over their predecessors.
