The Redmi Note 15 Pro is likely still a few months away from being released outside China. Given that Xiaomi is set to offer 4G versions of the Redmi Note 15 series, it seems likely that the company will append '5G' to the regular Redmi Note 15 Pro when it begins selling the device internationally.
Launched in Xiaomi's home market on August 21, the Redmi Note 15 Pro combines a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset with a 7,000 mAh battery and a Sony LYT-600 as its 50 MP primary camera. Based on early firmware findings, the global version of the Redmi Note 15 Pro could depart from the current Chinese variant upon release.
For context, similar evidence emerged about the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus last month. According to PaperKing13, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G will feature the same Samsung ISOCELL S5KHPE camera sensor as the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus to help distinguish it from the current Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G (curr. $309 on Amazon).
Unfortunately, camera hardware innovations may well stop there. Writing on X, PaperKing13 adds that the OmniVision OV08F will return from the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G with an 8 MP OmniVision as an ultra-wide-angle camera. Similarly, Xiaomi will complement the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G's new 200 MP and 1/1.4-inch primary camera with a 20 MP front-facing lens. Full global pricing and availability remain unknown for now, though.
