Xiaomi Mijia Outdoor Power Supply 1000 with 1,600 W power output revealed
The Xiaomi Mijia Outdoor Power Supply 1000 is now available to pre-order in China. The gadget is a cheaper paired-back version of the Mijia Outdoor Power Supply 1000 Pro released earlier this year. Like the Pro model, the device has a 1 kWh battery capacity, allowing you to power a 65 W projector for 13.4 hours or a 1,500 W air fryer for 36 minutes, for example.
You can recharge the Mijia Outdoor Power Supply 1000 to 80% in 1.5 hours, and a full recharge takes 2.5 hours. You can use the gadget to power up to 13 devices simultaneously via a range of ports, including 22.5 W USB-A, 100 W USB-C and 1,600 W AC. One difference between the two models is the maximum power output, lowered to 1,600 W in the new 1000. The device has a battery management system and 21 temperature sensors to protect it from issues like overheating.
You can control the power station and view real-time power output data in the Mijia app. The gadget has a similar design to the Pro, measuring 220 x 315 x 290 mm (~8.7 x 12.4 x 11.4-in) and weighing 15.3 kg (~33.7 lbs). You can currently pre-order the Xiaomi Mijia Outdoor Power Supply in China via Youpin for 4,499 yuan (~US$613) with a 100 yuan (~US$14) deposit. The gadget is expected to retail for 4,999 yuan (~US$688) in the future.
