Xiaomi 15 Pro leak shows the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 flagship in three colors

Xiaomi hasn't officially confirmed the launch date of its new flagship smartphones, but as previous reports suggested, the Xiaomi 15 could launch on October 20 in China. While that's about two weeks away, leaks about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 flagships are still coming in.

The latest one shows the possible design of the Xiaomi 15 Pro. This leak, which comes from a known leakster @That_Kartikey, shows the back renders of the flagship phone in three colors. According to the renders, the rear design will resemble the predecessor, with a square camera island.

Moreover, the renders suggest there will be a three-camera setup on the back, similar to the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Of the three sensors on the newer model, the primary one is said to be a 50 MP Light Fusion 900 series camera with an aperture of f/1.4. The ultra-wide is reportedly a 50 MP sensor, and the telephoto is said to be a 50 MP Sony IMX858 with 5x optical zoom.

While it may seem like there's a fourth camera on the rear, a closer look at the leaked renders suggests that it's a laser AF module. Another thing to note is that the renders show that the LED flash array will be outside the camera island. In comparison, it was placed inside the island on the Xiaomi 14 Pro (Xiaomi 14 available on Amazon).

Besides that, the leaked renders of the Xiaomi 15 Pro show the smartphone in three colors: silver, white, and black. They also suggest the flagship will feature a Leica Summilux optical lens, which is expected as the Chinese manufacturer has worked with Leica for the past few flagships.
