Alleged Xiaomi 15 Pro spotted in the hands of company's vice president
Xiaomi has yet to officially announce its next-gen flagship phones, but a recent leak has given us a look at the possible rear design of the Xiaomi 15 Pro. It showed that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 flagship could look similar to its predecessors from the back.
However, the leak suggested that there would be some noticeable differences. For example, the camera island is shown not to have a flash module inside. Instead, it will reportedly be outside the island, but the back is expected to feature three cameras, similar to the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
Now, the Xiaomi 15 Pro has seemingly been spotted in the hands of Wang Xiaoyan, the company's vice president. A close-up look at the image shows that the design of the smartphone appears to be the same as the leaked render, with the flash module being outside the camera island.
The smartphone that was spotted has a black colorway, but the recent render leak suggested that the Xiaomi 15 Pro will also come in white and silver. While it's not yet confirmed, the camera deco of the flagship phone is said to be made of ceramic, which is another difference when compared to its predecessor.
Other leaked details of the smartphone include a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED screen, 120 Hz refresh rate, up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, 6,000 mAh battery, and support for 80W wireless and 90W wired charging (140W Anker 737 power bank curr. $109.99 on Amazon). The company will likely launch the Xiaomi 15 series in China right after Qualcomm officially debuts its new flagship chipset.
