While the next-generation release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt still needs to get a release date, the existing Xbox One version, when loaded on the Xbox Series X console, runs incredibly fast already. In addition to the excellent graphics performance, this title has nearly instant loading times.

Although it has been around since 2015, this game still receives a lot of love from the developers and is set to get a next-gen update soon. However, even the existing build — which is made to run on the Xbox One — works flawlessly on the Xbox Series X console.

A YouTube video (embedded at the end of the article) shows this popular title running on Microsoft's brand-new console without breaking a sweat, but the graphics performance is not the pinnacle of this gameplay recording. What makes the video more impressive than anything else is the loading speed of various elements — fast travel loading is virtually instant.

Currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will get a free update compatible with the new consoles from Sony and Microsoft, namely the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The update will come with multiple visual enhancements, ray tracing support, as well as even faster loading times "across the base game, both expansions, and all extra content."
