Witseer modular ultra short throw projector is now available
The Witseer Ultra Short Throw Projector is now crowdfunding on Indiegogo. You can use the portable gadget to throw images up to 100-in (~254 cm) wide at a distance of 45 cm (~17.7-in) from the wall. The projector has a native 1080p resolution at 60 fps and up to 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness from its LED light source, which is expected to last up to 20,000 hours.
There are various add-ons available for the projector, such as a motion sensor to transform a table into an interactive touch screen. The monster speaker module boosts the existing pair of 3 W speakers by adding a 10 W sound system, and a 5,000 mAh battery module provides up to 3.5 hours of playback. Built-in Android TV gives you access to apps like YouTube and Netflix. You can wirelessly cast content from an Android, iOS, macOS or Windows device or connect gadgets via HDMI ARC and USB-A ports. The projector also supports Bluetooth 5.0 and Google Chromecast.
The compact gadget measures 19 x 9.4 x 6.7 cm (7.5 x 2.6 x 3.7-in) and weighs 0.73 kg (~1.6 lbs). You can make a Super Early Bird pledge of US$799 to receive the Witseer BASIC UST Projector. The same pledge level for the Witseer PLUS package, which includes the three modular add-ons, is US$1,299. The products are expected to retail for US$1,299 and US$1,999, respectively, in the future. The company plans to ship worldwide from June.
