With LPCAMM2 memory: Lenovo launches new 14-inch ThinkPad with Intel Panther Lake

The ThinkPad P14s i G7 has arrived to replace last year's Intel Arrow Lake-backed predecessor (curr. $1,899 on Amazon). According to Lenovo, the ThinkPad P14s i G7 will be available with up to a 16-core Core Ultra 300 H series processor with an Arc B390 iGPU. Although unconfirmed for now, this sounds like the Core Ultra X9 388H rather than the Core Ultra 9 386H or the Core Ultra X7 alternatives.
Moreover, Lenovo will complement this 16-core processor with an Nvidia RTX Pro 1000 Blackwell Generation laptop GPU with 8 GB GDDR7 VRAM. Also, the P14s i G7 is another of ThinkPad laptop with LPCAMM2 memory. Specifically, Lenovo will sell the P14s i G7 with up to 96 GB LPDDR5x RAM clocked at 8,533 MT/s. A 60 Wh or 75 Wh battery will be present too, as will the following 14.5-inch and 16:10 panel options:
- 3,072 x 1,920 IPS, 500 nits, 100% DCI-P3, 120 Hz, anti-glare, non-touch
- 1,920 x 1,200 IPS, 400 nits, 45% NTS, 60 Hz, anti-glare, touchscreen
- 1,920 x 1,200 IPS, 400 nits, 45% NTS, 60 Hz, anti-glare, non-touch
Additionally, the ThinkPad P14s i G7 features a full-sized HDMI port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB Type-A port and a 3.5 mm jack on its left-hand side. Meanwhile, an Ethernet connection and a second Type-A port occupy the device's right-hand side, all within a package that weighs at least 1.63 kg and measures 325.2 x 226.3 x 11.7 mm.
Lenovo intends to start selling the ThinkPad P14s i G7 in selected markets from May 2026 onwards. Unfortunately, the company has not been more specific in this regard. Likewise, it has not confirmed pricing in any capacity yet, either.
