Vivo's next premium foldable phone leaks with key highlights

The Vivo X Fold 5 was released in July 2025 as the company's flagship foldable smartphone. It features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 50MP triple rear camera setup, and a 6,000mAh battery. Now, a new leak has revealed key highlights of Vivo's next-generation foldable device, expected to be called the Vivo X Fold 6.
Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo suggests that the new Vivo foldable may feature the Dimensity 9500 chipset. For context, the Dimensity 9500 is MediaTek's flagship processor and is also used in the Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro.
The leak also points to a 7,000mAh battery, compared to the 4,400mAh capacity on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 (curr. $1,599 on Amazon). According to the tipster, the X Fold 6 will also feature a slim and lightweight body. For reference, the Vivo X Fold 5 measures 9.2mm when folded and weighs 217 grams.
The Vivo X Fold 6 may also see camera upgrades. The leak suggests a 200MP primary camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The tipster suggests the camera module may feature a circular design similar to last year's model.
At the time of writing, Vivo has not revealed any official details about the X Fold 6. The new foldable phone is rumored to be announced in late June 2026 in China. In other news, the Vivo X500 series has appeared on the GSMA IMEI database.
