Vivo wants to bring its camera prowess to vlogging cameras.
Best known for its smartphones, Chinese manufacturer, Vivo, has reportedly confirmed that it will be launching a new product category this year. The report says Vivo plans to unveil a vlogging camera that will challenge the likes of the DJI Osmo Pocket series.

After repeatedly proving it is a leader when it comes to smartphone camera performance, a new report says Vivo is planning to bring its camera prowess to a new product category.

According to a report by the Chinese publication Jieman News, Vivo has disclosed that it has begun developing a vlogging camera. The development of the new product is stated to have begun in late 2025, and it is expected to be released later this year.

The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 was released in October 2023.

The vlogging camera is reported to be positioned as a rival to DJI's (Osmo) Pocket series of handheld gimbal cameras. Unfortunately, there are no specific details yet of Vivo's camera, so it is impossible to say what specs it will have and how much it will cost. Although, it won't be far-fetched to expect it to feature Zeiss technology.

Nevertheless, when it does launch, it will be contending with the highly anticipated DJI Osmo Pocket 4 and Osmo Pocket 4 Pro. Insta360 is also reported to be planning to launch its own take on the DJI Osmo Pocket. A recent report revealed some images of the vlogging camera which has a modular design. However, there's still no info regarding when it will launch.
