Leica presents Lux Case for Apple iPhone 17 Pro, designed to be perfect for use with camera grip

The Leica Lux Case is designed to perfectly match the Leica Lux Grip.

Leica has unveiled an official protective case for the Apple iPhone. With a genuine leather back and aluminum buttons, the Leica Lux Case promises a high-quality look and feel and is designed to fit perfectly with the Leica Lux camera grip.

The Leica Lux Case is the first official Leica protective case for the Apple iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The case is designed to impress primarily with Leica's signature high-quality craftsmanship, for which the camera specialist from Wetzlar uses a genuine cowhide leather back.

The inside is lined with a microfiber surface to prevent the iPhone 17 Pro from getting scratched inside the case. The volume buttons, power button and action button are made of aluminum. The iPhone 17 Pro's dedicated camera shutter button is recessed in the case so that touch gestures can be used to zoom and control exposure parameters, even when the iPhone is in the protective case.

The case features a magnetic ring for use with MagSafe accessories. This makes the protective case ideal for use with the Leica Lux Grip, as Leica's camera grip attaches magnetically to the iPhone. The Leica Lux Case contains no electronic components. To better protect the iPhone from drops, the case extends slightly beyond the display and camera module, protecting the edges of the smartphone from impacts at almost any angle.

The Leica Lux Case for the Apple iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max is now available for $95, both in the Leica Online Store and at selected retailers.
