With the Predator Triton 14, Acer put together one of the most interesting laptops we have seen this year so far, and that already says a lot. The super sleek 14" laptop bets on Intel's Lunar Lake CPU, and as a first, in this combination, Acer combined the efficient silicon with a dGPU in the form of Nvidia's new RTX 5070. The 2023 ROG Zephyrus redefined how much performance you can get within a 14" chassis, betting on the RTX 4090. A year later, Asus completely redesigned the whole line-up, and performance took a huge hit since the Zephyrus maxed out with an RTX 4070. For this year, the fastest configuration you can get can be yours with an RTX 5080, so the question is, can it beat its almost legendary 4090-powered predecessor?

Contrary to the ThinkPad X9 we just recently reviewed, the T14S is a "true" business, offering everything Lenovo's ThinkPad is known for. A stellar keyboard experience? Check! Unassuming yet high-quality chassis? Check! All the ports you could ask for when being out and about? Check! In addition, the T14S can be yours with either Qualcomm's Snapdragon silicon, AMD's Strixpoint CPUS, or the tried-and-true Intel flavour. We tested them all, and will tell you which is the best.

The completely redesigned Lenovo Legion Pro 7 for 2025 breaks with many Legion "traditions," yet somehow, it still manages to deliver what the Pro 7 always stood for: above-average high-end gaming laptop performance for a somewhat reasonable price. So while the new chassis design is different, and the port situation will take some time to get used to, the RTX 5080, Intel HX CPU and stellar OLED panel make for a great gaming and creator laptop experience.

If you want the fastest laptop in the most compact form factor with all the bells and whistles and a high-quality chassis, chances are you have heard about the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 and Razer Blade 16 before. While we did our individual reviews for these super thin gaming laptops already, given that they cost almost the same and cater to a very similar audience, we put them directly against each other to tell you which is best for you.

In 2024, Asus ROG basically redefined the "thin and light" gaming laptop with the original Zephyrus G16, which packed a high-end GPU into a super sleek, well-made chassis. For 2025, we get a new CPU, up to an RTX 5090 and higher power targets. While the new Zephyrys improves upon its direct predecessor, the difference is not that massive, and the competition is not sleeping as well.

The Aorus Master 18 is Gigabyte's take on a modern gaming laptop with an 18-inch screen, and they pretty much nailed it on their first try. Yes, the chunky laptop is big, can get loud, and will raise some eyebrows in the boardroom, but with the stellar MiniLED display, a ton of ports, and performance that matches the somewhat aggressive styling, you are well-covered for your virtual entertainment needs. It also seems like the mobile RTX 5080 might be the sweet spot for powerful mobile GPUs in 2025 since it performs very well, even compared to its bigger 5090 sibling, while actually being quite a bit cheaper at the same time. The 2025 version of Asus's fastest and most high-end ROG gaming laptop not only comes with the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 Arrow Lake HX CPU and Nvidia's RTX 5090 laptop flagship but also boasts a completely new design and one of the best laptop displays on the market. But it is also terribly expensive and relies on a mostly plastic chassis. So, how high can the massive 18" desktop replacement set the bar for the competition, or did we already review the best big gaming laptop of 2025?!

Apple finally refreshed its MacBook Air 15, but we do not get much more apart from the new(-ish) M4 SOC and a new colour. While the Air is still without competition when it comes to passively cooled laptops, in other areas, the competition has caught up or even surpassed the OG of everyday notebooks.

In our Razer Blade 16/RTX 5090 laptop launch review, we mentioned that the sleek 16-inch laptop will most likely not be the fastest with Nvidia's new mobile flagship because of the thinner chassis and the weaker Strixpoint CPU. And we have been right since AMD turbocharges both the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 with their new high-end fire range laptop CPUs, and we have been able to put them through their paces in the refreshed XMG Neo 16.

After Nvidia released its new generation of desktop GPUs, powered by their latest Blackwell architecture, it is finally time for our mobile companions to get some much-needed upgrades as well. With the refreshed Razer Blade 16, we have the first laptop RTX 5090-powered notebook in the studio. Not only did Razer put the 16-incher on a significant diet, ready to rival the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16, but the good-looking gamer is also fueled by an AMD Strixpoint CPU. So lets see what if its a worthy upgrade, or if you are better of with the beefier predecessor.

I have been using the RTX 5090 for the past few weeks for work and, of course, quite a few hours of gaming. If your budget allows it, you can treat yourself to the best experience possible. But in light of inflated prices, subpar availability, and quite a bit of controversy, the question is, should you still consider getting one of these for yourself?

We played a couple of hour of the massive open-world action RPG, set in 16th century japan and tested several systems, so you can get an idea how the game will run on your hardware, and if its worth to pick up.

Lenovo's super, portable and well-featured laptop might carry the ThinkPad name (and pricetag) but considering the missing trackpoint, is this even allowed? Honor just unveiled its shiny new high-end Android smartphone to rival the Samsung S25 series, the iPhone 16Pro, and the rest of the premium competition. While it may miss that one stand-out feature, it does everything you would want from a modern smartphone extremely well and is even priced very competitively—for now.

Nvidia's new Blackwell-powered desktop GPUs are right around the corner, and since I want to cover some of the new cards here on the channel as well, it's time for a new system. Intel's Arrow Lake Core Ultra 285K will power this absolute unit of a PC, and who knows, maybe this will be our new workstation for 2025. Being a big fan of the 2024 Razer Blade 16, I was kind of disappointed when I got the first bits of information about the update for 2025. A much slimmer chassis probably meant drastically reduced power levels for the GPU, kneecapping a great performer quite severely. But it turns out I was wrong, and Razer may have found the perfect balance between portability AND performance. During CES 2025 Dell and Alienware just announced a completely new line-up of laptops, displays and desktop PCs. We had some early hands-on time, especially on the Alienware side with the Area 51 and Area 51m, and it is refreshing to see them return to their roots and focus on large, uncompromising gaming machines with a unique look. Why not buy a desktop right away before opting for an 18" gaming laptop? Or rather go with the much more established and also a lot more practical 16" competition? Well, if you ask me, the "big boys" offer a lot and definitely have a place in today's laptop market. We tested almost all of the gaming and content creation behemoths currently available, so please enjoy our video.

The Gigabyte Aorus 16X is a prime example of a solid gaming experience without many compromises at a very reasonable price point. While we did test the i9-14900HX SKU thoroughly on the website, the i7-equipped variant I was able to get my hands on for this video might be the better pick.

You can not quite decide whether to go for a 4K display for all of your content creation needs or those stunning-looking story games or something with a lower resolution but a much faster refresh rate to give you the competitive edge. Well, you do not have to decide anymore since the Alienware 2725QF can deliver both 4K at up to 180Hz and 1080p at a pretty insane 360Hz, all at a very reasonable price. We will tell you if all this sounds to good to be true in this very video.
