The Epic Games Store is stepping up its game giveaway service with not one or two but three free titles this week. In recent weeks, the storefront has favoured offering one or two games per week. For example, Felix The Reaper was Epic Games' sole full free game last week.
This time, it has decided to give away ScourgeBringer, Songs of Silence and Zero Hour in a deal worth $56.98 when purchasing the same titles on Steam. A multiple Indie game award winner, ScourgeBringer is a free-moving roguelite platformer that continues to achieve Very Positive ratings on Steam with 76/100 and 81/100 averages on Metacritic and OpenCritic, respectively.
Meanwhile, Songs of Silence maintains 81/100 and 76/100 averages across the same review aggregators but a Mostly Positive rating on Steam. A turn-based strategy game, Songs of Silence has been commended for its art style but falls down on its repetitive nature and intuitive combat mechanics.
Likewise, Zero Hour has been awarded a Mostly Positive rating on Steam for its team-based gameplay within a familiar tactical FPS landscape reminiscent of the Rainbow Six series like Rainbow Six Extraction (curr. $13.95 on Amazon) but with a greater focus on realism. These giveaways will be available to claims from 16:00 UTC today, the same time on November 20. Please see Epic Games' ScourgeBringer, Songs of Silence and Zero Hour store listings for more details.
